A new project is being launched in CGE right now, START! This project is a capacity building and fellowship program for aspiring cultural managers in Greece.
This new project supports creative minds to kick-start cultural initiatives that generate a positive social impact on their local communities. By facilitating growth and exchange in the socio-cultural sector, START aims to create new perspectives for young professionals in Greece and foster social cohesion in Europe. START is a program of the Robert Bosch Stiftung, conducted in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut Thessaloniki, and the German Association of Sociocultural Centers, supported by the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation and the Bodossaki Foundation.
CGE will be hosting a Greek volunteer, Mariana Anthropelou, during the 7 weeks of Phase I. In Erfurt, she will be using her communications background to implement local projects focused on tackling social issues. She is specialised in using games to foster social cohesion. During this period, CGE will integrate Mariana in its team, getting her acquainted with the association’s work, while also providing the necessary tools for the development of her own project in Greece.
Already last week CGE members ventured to Berlin to got to know Mariana and take part in the START Opening Event.
And after all celebration, the Partnership day came to start a fruitful collaboration:
